Steven Pedrosa and I were in the studio on Thursday. I continued my distortion series, but decided to share some more traditional portraits.

Retouching
I have come a long way in the past few years with my Photoshop and my retouching skills. Although I enjoy retouching photos, I think too many times retouchers can go too far. Just look at any magazine next time you are in line at the grocery store. I try to enhance my photographs, but not try to do so in a deceiving way. People have lines and wrinkles!
I am a fan of Amy Dresser's work. She is unbelievable with what she can do in Photoshop. Take a look, you have probably seen her work before Amy Dresser's Website.
Here is an example of my latest retouching work. I did not take the photograph. You can click to enhance the size of the photo.

Distortion
I had a lot of fun in the studio this past weekend! I was able to photograph the beautiful Sou-Ann Nieves.
I also started a project I am basing on distortion. Sou-Ann Nieves and Victor Rollins modeled for the shoot.
I am currently working on posting photos from the Hedrick/Monroe wedding. Stay tuned!
